Hello!
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is MeLyssa.
From the early days of Scholastic book orders, to art sets, painting kits, and 1,000’s of how to draw _____ books, I have loved creating of any kind.
In more recent days with a young child in the home I have focused on Digital Art for safety as well as space related reasons. I have however fallen in love with the variety of textures and effects that can be created. My favorite being Oil painting brushes and canvas textures.
I was inspire to create my snail mail club (the Foxes Field Notes) and Melyssa Stewart Creations after becoming a mom and realizing how tired I was of rushing from one thing to another, of the AI slop stealing from real artists and clogging my feed.
I want to curate a space where hand drawn, human made art is the norm, where shipping is slow and personal. If that sounds like something you would be interested in, please stick around and say hi!
